I started to seek the data of the belief.... One day finding me to carve hooks on the roof of the Beauvais St Etienne church , I saw to stream in front of my spirit the content of all the religions of the world. With the presentation of each one of these religions I was literally fixed in each faith, except that I had on the heart the feeling of a hand of woman who prevented me from entirely adhering to them. Finally I firmly remained catholic. Then estimating that the position of sculptor still over was honourable for me, I entered a school of the building to become stone mason what led me to work in a turn of France of several French churches. Into this school I was engaged in a certain religious proselytism not without a certain suffering and without integrating me into an instituted catholic action. At the end of the training course, I decided to make a retirement to the Bec Hellouin abbey with an aim of making me Benedictine. I always had many extraordinary mystical graces, but little virtues and in front of the faults which I believed to see in the monastic life, I fled loosely.
